Turkish delegation to travel to US to resolve F-16 issue

A Turkish delegation will visit the United States to resolve the supply of American F-16 fighters issue. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at a press conference following the NATO summit in Madrid.

"The sincere efforts of the distinguished US President [Joe] Biden in this matter will receive serious support. I will immediately send a delegation to the United States", TASS quoted the Turkish leader.

Earlier today, US President Joe Biden said the US should sell F-16 fighter jets to Turkey, as well as modernize them.
