Rixos Hotels Egypt CEO Erkan Yıldırım announced additional Egyptian property openings and inventory expansion scheduled for next year.

The executive confirmed room capacity expansion targets reaching 10,000 units.

"Today we have 11 hotels and 7,000 rooms. By the end of 2026, Rixos will have 15 hotels and 10,000 rooms in Egypt. We have hotels and new projects in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Cairo, and on the Mediterranean coast in El Alamein",

 Erkan Yıldırım said.

The CEO attributed expansion feasibility to Egypt's emergence as a year-round destination.

Russian, Kazakh, and Belarusian tourists constitute Egypt's largest visitor number, with approximately 600,000 Russian guests recorded this year.
