As part of the competitions at the First European Games in Baku, the semifinalists of kata karate among men and women were determined today. The athletes from Turkey made their way to both semi-finals.
At 13:30 MSK the semi-finals among men will start, during which Damian Hugo Quintero from Spain will fight Ming Duck from France, and Mattia Busato from Italy will fight Mehmet Yakana from Turkey.
The women will compete 15 minutes later for the right to ascend the podium. Dilara Bosa (Turkey) will face Sunday Skordev (France), Sandra Sanchez Jaime (Spain) will face Jasmine Bleul (Germany).
