The Turkish lira exchange rate has dropped to 3.1375 per $1, which is a new anti-record, the Hurriyet newspaper reports.
Experts believe that the decline of the Turkish national currency was caused by the morning's terrorist attack in the province of Diyarbakir and detention of deputies from the Peoples' Democratic Party.
