Two Turkish soldiers have been killed in Operation Olive Branch in Syria's Afrin, the Turkish military said in a statement.
The military said that the soldiers were killed as a result of antitank and mortar attacks by terrorists near Bulbul and el-Maski districts in Afrin.
According to the statement, the military retaliated in kind to the attacks, Daily Sabah reported.
Operation Olive Branch was launched by Turkey on January 20 to remove the PKK/PYD/YPG/KCK and ISIS terrorists from Afrin in northwestern Syria.
