Next year will be successful for the Turkey's economy, the Turkish Development Minister Lutfi Elvan said.
He recalled that after the coup attempt and the beginning of the Shield of Euphrates operation, the anti-Turkish propaganda has began in the world, which led to a loss of 8.6 billion dollars.
He said it has pushed Turkey to start urgent reforms in the tourism sphere.
"In general, tourism sector's revenues decreased by 30%, but we hope that 2017 will be successful for the Turkish economy," Trend cited the minister as saying.
