The leader of the Party of the Nationalist Movement, Devlet Bahçeli, urged the government to restore the death penalty against terrorists.
According to him,the fact that the death penalty was abolished in Turkey unties the hands of terrorists, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber.
Turkey abolished the death penalty in 2001, but the country hasn’t used it since 1986.
