The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Ankara on Tuesday issued arrest warrants for 47 personnel working at two Turkish ministries as part of its ongoing probe into the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).

Warrants were out for 30 staffers of the Ministry of Education and 17 others at the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications, according to a source at the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, who did not wish to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media, Anadolu Agency reported.

The country's government blames FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen for the July 15 coup attempt that martyred 250 people and left around 2,200 others wounded.
