Türkiye is back in the lead
Türkiye became the first in terms of the number of bookings for holiday destinations among Russians at the beginning of March, since 23% of Russian tourists plan to spend their holidays in its resorts, and the number of sales has tripled compared to 2021. The prices for trips have also increased significantly, but this does not stop tourists.
Türkiye is ready to receive 6 million Russians in the current high season. Besides, the travel service noted, it was strange, but sales of tours to Turkish resorts in Russia rushed up in the spring, while usually this time was chosen for trips to warmer countries.
Where do Russians go on holiday?
Alanya has become the most popular and most budgetary destination. It is favored by almost a third of Russian tourists, although the average check for a trip is about 119 thousand rubles for an all-inclusive week. Then goes Side with 131 thousand rubles per trip, then Kemer. A trip to Kemer will cost an average of 148 thousand rubles, but Antalya with a modest check of 120 thousand is only in fourth place. Istanbul closes the top five - despite the fact that it is the cheapest, about 87 thousand rubles - only 9% of Russians go there, RIA Novosti reports.
Comfort above all else
By tradition, Russians choose the most comfortable vacation: 67% intend to relax in a "five-star" hotel. Those who agree to be content with "four-star" hotels occupy an honorable second place, but there are only 20% of them. "Three star" in third place, only 12% of tourists are interested in such hotels.
As for the service, 46% of our tourists are interested in "ultra all inclusive", 35% agree to "all inclusive", but only 14% of Russians are ready to be content with only breakfast in Türkiye.
