Syrian militias and Turkish special forces 'Maroon Berets' said that they have captured villages inside Syria's Afrin.
In response, the Kurdish militia known as the YPG struck the towns of Killis and Reyhanli in southern Turkey with rocket fire on Sunday, killing a Syrian refugee.
Turkish officials have dubbed the offensive 'Operation Olive Branch' and said that their intention is to create a 30 kilometre "safe zone" inside Syria, the National reported.
