Turkmenistan and Austria developing energy partnership

The delegation of Turkmenistan was sent to Vienna, where a meeting of the joint Turkmen-Austrian commission will be held from August 31 to September 3. The meeting will discuss the cooperation in the energy security sphere. The corresponding order was made by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The text of the decree states that the upcoming forum is aimed at the implementation of bilateral agreements reached between Turkmenistan and Austria, as well as further development of relations between the two countries.
 
The EU, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia are discussing the possibility of Turkmen natural gas supplies to the European market, Trend reports.
