Turkmenistan and Monaco have established diplomatic relations, signing the corresponding protocol in Paris.
During the signing ceremony, the ambassadors of Turkmenistan and the Principality of Monaco reaffirmed their interest in strengthening of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
“They focused on the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco in the cosmic sphere: the first Turkmen satellite will be launched soon. Monaco has offered an orbital position for this satellite,” the report says.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Prince Albert II to attend the 20th anniversary of neutrality in December 2015.
