Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to cooperate in the energy industry and trade

Ashkhabad has hosted talks between the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in the country on an official visit, the state news agency 'Turkmen dovlet khabarlary' (TDH) reports.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the prospects of increasing their bilateral partnership in the context of implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as new opportunities for enhancing mutually beneficial relations, Trend reports.

Among the priority areas of cooperation the trade and economic sphere, the fuel and energy complex, transportation and others were named.
