Turkmenistan began to pay off wages with sheep

The Turkmenmallary state association (Turkmen animals) has solved the problem of shortage of cash by starting paying wages off with sheep and rams.

According to the tenant's livestock complex in the Akhal velayat of Selima, one animal is about 270 manats (about 6077 rubles).

"One sheep is about 16-18 kg of meat. Employees are forced to receive sheep. What else can they do?" the Turkmen of Radio service Azattyk cites him as saying.
