A new gas field has been found in Turkmenistan during exploratory drilling, local media reported.
Search works were carried out in the 'Bagly-1' area in Karakum on the territory of Mary Velayat (region).
The new gas production platform is located a few dozen kilometers from the famous 'Galkinish' field.
