The state concern Turkmenneft has extended the geography of its exploration and drilling operations, as well as increasing the volume of oil and gas.
During the first half of this year 42 wells were put into operation, 34 of them are exploratory and 8 are for operational purposes.
Oil production in the first half at Goturdepeneft exceeded 1.7 million tons, which is equal to half of the extracted raw materials for the state concern Turkmenneft, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan reports.
