Turkmenistan has begun to weld the pipe section of the TAPI gas pipeline (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India), the press service of the republic's Oil and Gas Ministry reports.
Specialists of the Turkmengaz State Concern are preparing trenches for pipelines.
According to preliminary calculations, 214 km of pipes will be built in the Turkmen section of the TAPI. According to the agency, more than a hundred units of special equipment are involved.
