Two Chinese children, transferred to Tbilisi hospital, found to be infected with influenza type A virus

Two Chinese children, who were transferred from Kazbegi region of Georgia to Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, found to be infected with influenza type A virus, Amiran Gamkrelidze, Director of the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) of Georgia, said on Thursday, InterPressNews reports.

Nine citizens of China, including two children, have today been taken from Kazbegi region to Tbilisi Infectious Hospital. Reportedly, the children showed the symptoms of influenza virus.
