Two illegal Yemeni migrants detained in Georgia

According to the Interior Ministry, Georgian law enforcement officers have detained two citizens of Yemen as they were trying to cross the border with Turkey illegally.

A criminal case was initiated according to paragraph ‘A’, part 2, article 19-344 of the Criminal Code: ‘‘Group attempt at illegal border crossing.’’ 

The investigation is being carried out by the investigative operational directorate of the border police, Georgia Online reports.
