This afternoon, in the village of Mosrentgen in New Moscow, a "balcony" fire broke out in a nine-story residential building, the press service of the Russian EMERCOM reports.
The fire broke out in one of the apartments on the second floor on an area of about 25 square meters. The fire spread to the balconies and went up the building to the 9th floor.
”One of the apartments on the 2nd floor was on fire. The total area of the fire outbreak was about 25 sq m with balconies from the 3rd to the 9th floor. At 14:23, the fire in the apartment was extinguished, at 15:04, open fire on the balconies was liquidated. As a result of the accident, 14 people were injured, two children died, TASS cites the message of EMERCOM.
