Two commanders of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Farshad Gasunizade and Hamid Mohtarbans, have been killed during military operations in Syria, Iranian press report.
Colonel Gasunizade, who previously commanded the Saberin IRGC brigade, was killed during his mission, when he was engaged in consultations with Syrian Muslim troops fighting Islamic State, Trend reports.
