Two ex-governors of Stavropol Territory want to become deputies

Two former governors of Stavropol Territory have decided to try their luck in the primaries of the 'United Russia' party, in order to become candidates for deputies of different levels, the regional branch of the party reported.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of 'Energomera', Valery Gaevsky, plans to take part in the elections to the Duma of the seventh convocation in the federal electoral district in the Stavropol Territory, the report said.

The director general of state regional center for standardization, metrology and testing in the Stavropol Territory, Valery Zerenkov, was not as ambitious and decided to participate in elections to the regional parliament.

Both politicians have already submitted documents for registration in the primaries. Decisions on them will be made on April 11th, Interfax reports.
