The offices of the pro-government Yeni Akit and Yeni Şafak newspapers were simultaneously attacked with guns and Molotov cocktails last night in İstanbul, local media report.
Five masked attackers launched an attack on Yeni Şafak’s office in the Bayrampaşa district. The assailants threw Molotov cocktails at the building entrance and opened fire. A similar group attacked the Yeni Akit building in the Küçükçekmece district with Molotov cocktails and weapons.
No casualties were reported, but buildings suffered material damage.
