Two more senators speak in support of Iranian nuclear agreement

Democratic senators from Rhode Island state Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse have announced their readiness to support the agreement on Iran's nuclear program during the vote in the US Congress, which will be held in September.

According to them, Congress will make a "strategic mistake" if it derails the deal. In particular, Reid stated that the agreements reached in Vienna "provide international inspectors with unprecedented access to Iran's nuclear infrastructure and supply channels." Whitehouse, in turn, stressed that he sees no "better and more reliable way to" control Tehran's program.

Thus, 23 senators have already expressed their support for the document signed in Vienna between Iran and the "Six" international negotiators.
