U.S. minister postpones visit to China amid coronavirus outbreak

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross postponed plans to possibly travel to China this week, a department spokesperson said.

The decision was taken amid concerns by U.S. officials that the coronavirus was spreading, CNN reported.

More than 130 people have died from the coronavirus and nearly 6,000 cases have been confirmed, according to official Chinese statistics.
