Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has met with the management of DP World Group during the visit to the United Arab Emirates. The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan informs that DP World Group renders advisory services on the creation of free trade zone on the territory of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, abc.az reports.
"During the meeting DP World Group’s reps held a presentation of their work relating to the creation of a free trade zone. They also discussed with the minister the master plan for industrial and logistic infrastructure, types of management and business activity to be applied on the FTZ territory," the MoE said.
According to the Ministry, the Azerbaijani delegation also held talks with VPS Healthcare jointly with which a pharmaceutical factory will be built in Pirallahi Industrial Park. During the meeting the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in other spheres of health.
The 6th meeting of the UAE-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic & Technical Cooperation, a business forum and bilateral meetings was also held today within Economy Minister’s visit in the UAE.
