Militants continue to launch UAVs in the area of the Khmeimim air base in Syria. On Saturday night, in the area of the air base, a UAV launched from the territory controlled by the militants in the north of Latakia was shot down, the head of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, Major General Alexey Tsygankov said.
"On July 21, the airspace control of the Russian airbase Khmeimim detected a UAV launched from the territory controlled by the illegal armed formations in the north of the province of Latakia," the Major General said.
