Contenders have been defined for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League following the Draw today at the headquarters of the European governing body of football in Switzerland’s Nyon.
The European football clubs have been paired for the Round of 16 of the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League as follows:
Juventus (Italy) - Tottenham Hotspur (England)
Basel (Switzerland) - Manchester City (England)
Porto (Portugal) - Liverpool (England)
Sevilla (Spain) - Manchester United (England)
Real Madrid (Spain) - Paris Saint-Germain (France)
Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) - Roma (Italy)
Chelsea (England) - Barcelona (Spain)
Bayern Munchen (Germany) v Besiktas (Turkey)
The Round of 16 first leg matches will be played on 13-14 and 20-21 February next year, while return matches will be played at home on 6-7 and 13-14 March.
The Draw for the quarterfinal stage will be held on March 16. The final match for the title of the new champion of the UEFA Champions League will be played in Ukraine's Kiev on May 26.
