A UK Covid-19 variant has spread in Iran, Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Said Namaki reported.
He noted that new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Tehran, Abyek, Hashgerd and Alborz province.
"This is a serious alarm. The new strain of coronavirus has disarmed the strongest healthcare system in Europe," he said, adding that for Iran this fight won’t be easy either.
