British Foreign Office minister Alan Duncan condemned the opening of the Crimean bridge and highlighted the UK’s concerns about human rights in Crimea.
Duncan noted that the opening of this bridge represents yet another violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, and a further example of Russia’s reckless behaviour. "We continue to work with partners to oppose the annexation, including by maintaining a robust package of sanctions," the statement from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Offices says.
On May 15. the official opening of a the Crimean bridge was held. The ceremony was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
