The UK armed forces are to conduct the Shamal Storm military exercises, during which 1600 troops and 300 pieces of military equipment will be transferred to Jordan.
As noted by the Daily Telegraph, it may be "training of skills for the transfer of a significant number of armored vehicles of the British armed forces to Eastern Europe in case of a confrontation between Russia and NATO."
