The United Nations Security Council will hold a meeting on the initiative of Russia on the situation in Aleppo, to discuss the proposal of UN Secretary General Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura on the withdrawal of the militants of the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra from the eastern part of the city, TASS reports.
The meeting, which will be held behind closed doors, was included in the Council's work program for Friday.
