The United Nations is concerned about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action talks, Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric said.
"I think it is very concerning that the talks are not going in a positive manner. We've always been very supportive of the JCPOA, the JCPOA process. We think that the agreement, as it used to be, was an extremely useful tool," he said.
At the same time Dujarric expressed hope the parties can continue to discuss the issue. "We also re‑call, again, on Iran to live up to its obligations under the agreements - and under the agreements they have with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)," he added.
