UN representatives continue contacts with Russia and Ukraine about another evacuation of civilians from Mariupol, Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for the UN secretary general, said at a news conference on Wednesday.
"I just talked to colleagues on the ground," he said. "At this point discussions are going on with the various Ukrainian, Russian authorities and of course always in cooperation with the ICRC."
"As soon as we have something we feel we can safely announce we will," the spokesman continued. "It involves Mariupol and Mariupol area."
