UN High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet has urged the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) to keep previous promises regarding women's rights in Afghanistan.
"In Afghanistan, there is now a rapid decades rollback in the implementation of these rights in all areas," she said.
According to Bachelet, "We are seeing a progressive exclusion of women and girls from the public sphere and institutionalized, systemic oppression."
