In the center of Tbilisi on Rustaveli Avenue, the Georgian police officers detained the opposition MP, member of the United National Movement Party (ENM) Nika Melia, the local media report.
It is specified that the parliamentarian was detained after the brawl between the members of the UNM and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The opposition MPs did not pass a car that belonged to the law enforcement agency. As a result, the police had to intervene in the situation.
