US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried will visit the countries of the South Caucasus, the press service of the State Department reports.
It is noted that Donfried will travel to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia on June 14-19 to emphasize "Washington's commitment to peace, democracy and prosperity in the South Caucasus region."
According to the department, Donfried will also highlight the US's commitment to establishing lasting peace in the region, including by supporting the development of political, economic and interpersonal ties across the region.
