An armed attack has been made on the building of the US Consulate in the Turkish city of Sariyer.
According to local television, the attack was carried out by a man and a woman. No one was hurt in the attack and the two assailants managed to escape.
In this regard, a large-scale operation was conducted in the region. Later, the police detained a female suspect. Ambulances and sappers arrived at the scene, TASS reports.
