US State Department: extradition request for Gulen being considered

US State Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau did not comment in detail  the ultimatum of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who demanded from Washington to choose between Ankara and the preacher Fethullah Gülen.

"We addressed this a little yesterday. As we’re in the position – we have documents, we continue to stay in close contact with Turkish authorities. This is a technical, legal process. I really don’t have an update on if a determination has been made," she said at the daily press briefing.
