In connection with the attacks on Russian diplomatic mission, which have recently become frequent in Ukraine, US State Department spokesman John Kirby demanded that Kiev take measures to ensure their safety.
"We have seen information about protest actions near Russian diplomatic missions in Ukraine, accompanied by outbreaks of violence. We urge people in Ukraine to express their protest peacefully. We also urge the Ukrainian security services to perform their duties in accordance with the Vienna Convention on the protection of diplomatic and consular missions," Interfax quotes him as saying.
