US Central Command is creating a strike drone unit, Task Force Falcon Strike, which will include military personnel from several US allies in the region.
Accorfing to reports, the unit will operate strike drones across land, sea, and air. Admiral Brad Cooper said it would evolve from the existing Scorpion Strike force, the first US drone unit in the Middle East.
Washington is currently in talks with partners on joining the new task force.
