US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
During the talks, a spokesman for the American diplomatic department said that Washington was disappointed by Ankara’s purchase of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
"The Secretary of State expressed disappointment of the United States in connection with the acquisition by Turkey of the Russian-S-400," TASS reports.
