The Washington administration disagrees with the raising of the flag of the State of Palestine at the UN headquarters in New York, which took place for the first time, White House press secretary Joshua Ernest stated.
The US "opposes the raising of the Palestinian flag at the UN," TASS quoted him as saying.
At the same time, the US government, as previously, is going to participate in settling the conflict in the Middle East, Ernest stressed.
