The USA is expanding its existing immigration ban, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced, as reported by Fox News.
"I won't be specific on the number, but it's over 30, and the president is continuing to evaluate countries",
Noem reported.
The expansion follows a shooting incident near the White House in late November, where an assailant from Afghanistan opened fire, killing one U.S. National Guard serviceman and leaving another in serious condition.
The list of 19 countries includes Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Somalia, Laos, Cuba, Venezuela, and others.
