US President Barack Obama has extended the sanctions regime against Iran, the head of state informed in a notification sent to the US Congress.
Despite the conclusion of the agreement on the Tehran's nuclear program, as well as the fact that in 2016 the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that Iran fulfilled the provisions of the transaction, Tehran's policy causes concerns, particularly regarding the observance of human rights and the development program of ballistic missiles, the press service of the White House reports.
