US government rejects Iran’s role in 9/11 attacks

There is no evidence of any link between Iran and the September 11, 2001 attacks, a US State Department official said, Trend reports.

"As the 9/11 Commission noted in its report, they found no evidence that Iran or Lebanese Hezbollah group were aware of the planning for what later became the 9/11 attacks," Sam Werberg, press officer for the Office of Iranian Affairs at US Department of State.
