Uzbekistan may remain without the South Korean combat training aircraft T-50 Golden Eagle, the Korea Times reports with reference to military sources.
It is reported that the United States is against the deal between Tashkent and Seoul. The T-50 Golden Eagle was developed jointly by a US-Korean partnership. Now Washington is worried that these technologies may become known in Russia, as Uzbekistan has always been very closely connected with Russia.
The preliminary amount of the transaction is approximately $400 million. It means that 12 aircraft will be delivered, Trend reports.
