US forces have begun dismantling air defence systems in Iraqi Kurdistan ahead of their final withdrawal from Iraq, Al Hadath reported.
A source told the channel that heavy military equipment is also being moved out of northern Iraq, with the international coalition removing at least one convoy from Iraqi territory daily.
The final withdrawal of the US contingent is expected at the end of September.
