US Vice President Kamala Harris said that the United States is "not interested in a regime change” in Russia and this is not Washington's policy.
"No, listen, let me be clear... We are not into regime change, and that is not our policy. Period," RIA Novosti quotes Harris as saying.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that Ukraine "will never become a victory for Russia" and that Putin "cannot remain in power." However, the White House was quick to explain that the American leader did not call for a change in the Russian leadership.
