US president denies eavesdropping on French counterpart

US President Barack Obama said in a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Francois Hollande that US intelligence had not been eavesdropping on the French leader, RIA Novosti reports.


Obama emphasized that Washington was committed to the promises given to France in late 2013. Obama said during Hollande's visit to the US in February that the US was committed to productive relations with France.
